"McLoone's Rum Runner chose this charity because of their connection with the dolphins that have been in The Shrewsbury River. For two seasons, the staff and customers on our deck have enjoyed spectacular views of these beautiful animals as they frolic in the river. However, we have always had the outmost concern for the dolphin's safety in our minds as we observe them. The Marine Mammal Stranding Center has been instrumental in this cause and we would like to show our appreciation to them for their efforts."
McLoone's Rum Runner will serve passed hors d'oeuvres and a sampling of the deck menu. Also included in the price will be beer, wine, sangria and soda.
The entertainment for the evening will be "Roland Eckstein and The Rum Runners", a group of employees that have put together their own band and recently have had local recognition with their appearance at The Stone Pony.
